Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Monaco starlet Mamadou Coulibaly
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Monaco teenager Mamadou Coulibaly.
The 17-year-old midfielder has risen through the youth ranks at Les Monegasques but his long-term future is shrouded in uncertainty.
The Senegalese ace is due to become a free agent in June, and according to the Daily Mail, Spurs have earmarked him as a potential target.
The report goes on to claim that the French outfit are hoping to tie the teenager down to a new contract, but Fabio Paratici’s connections in the Ligue 1 could help him lure the starlet to North London.
Tottenham are expected to face fierce competition for Coulibaly, who is yet to make his senior debut for Les Monegasques.
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have previously been credited with an interest in Coulibaly, who has been capped at Under-18 level by France.
