Bayer Leverkusen Eye Bold Move for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho

The transfer saga surrounding Jadon Sancho is heating up once again—and this time, Bayer Leverkusen are ready to make their move.

Following a turbulent season, the 25-year-old winger is expected to leave Manchester United permanently. Sancho had joined Chelsea on a deadline-day loan with an obligation to buy for £25 million—triggered only if the Blues finished inside the Premier League’s top 14. Despite failing to meet that target, Chelsea have chosen to pay a £5 million penalty to cancel the deal altogether.

That decision has opened the door for Leverkusen, who are now reportedly keen to bring Sancho to the Bundesliga as a potential replacement for Florian Wirtz. The German star is strongly linked with Manchester City and Bayern Munich this summer, and Leverkusen are preparing for life without him.

However, there’s a catch—Sancho’s £250,000-a-week wages are a major stumbling block. Manchester United, eager to offload him, are said to be willing to slash their asking price to just £20 million to facilitate a move.

Borussia Dortmund are also monitoring the situation, hoping for a reunion, but their chances may hinge on securing Champions League football. Heading into the final Bundesliga matchday, they sit fifth—just one point off the top four.

Will Sancho reignite his career in Germany? This transfer race is far from over.
