Jaydee Canvot would reportedly be open to joining Paris Saint-Germain if the French champions step up their interest in the Crystal Palace defender. Football Insider claims the 20-year-old is flattered by the attention, although Palace are keen to keep hold of him.

Canvot’s Rapid Rise at Selhurst Park
Signed from Toulouse in 2025 for €23 million, Canvot quickly established himself in England. He made 36 appearances in his debut campaign, playing a part in Palace’s Conference League triumph. This season, he has started five of their first six league games under Pierre Sage.
Palace Hold the Stronger Hand
The Eagles have Canvot contracted until 2029 and face no financial pressure to sell. That puts them in a commanding position should PSG table a formal bid. Even so, the player’s willingness to consider a move could complicate negotiations.
Our Take: A Test of Palace’s Resolve
Palace have handled Canvot’s development superbly, and PSG’s interest is effectively a reward for that work. Champions League football, domestic silverware and a return to France are hard for any 20-year-old to ignore.
However, Palace needn’t be rushed. With his importance to Sage growing and his deal running for years, the real question is price rather than desire. A substantial offer would make for a tough decision, but selling a key young defender midway through a promising upturn carries risks of its own.
