Bayern Munich to sign Philippe Coutinho?

Bayern Munich have emerged as rumoured suitors for Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho, according to reports in Spain.

The Brazil international has been made available this summer as the Catalan giants look to raise the funds required to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.

Coutinho seemingly has other ideas having turned down the opportunity to link up with Tottenham Hotspur on loan for the current campaign.

However, Bayern Munich have informed Barca that they are interested in a deal to sign the 27-year-old midfielder, who has struggled to acclimatise to life at the Camp Nou since joining the club in January 2018.

It is understood, the German champions are keen to sign new players who are capable of playing on the flank, following their failure to bring in Manchester City’s Leroy Sane.
