Chelsea hopeful of signing Jadon Sancho

Chelsea are confident of beating Manchester United to the signing of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, according to Goal.com.

The Blues are determined to break their transfer record to sign the England international either in January or next summer.

The report goes on to claim that the west London outfit are preparing a bid should the Court of Arbitration for Sport overturn their transfer ban ahead of the new year.

Chelsea are hoping that Sancho’s close relationship with compatriot Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi can help their attempts to sign the Dortmund ace.

Chelsea could face fierce competition from Man United, who are ready to pay £119m for the highly-rated teenager in the upcoming transfer window.

Chelsea have signed Christian Pulisic from BVB earlier this year.
