Manchester United have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Stoke City defender Nathan Collins.
With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer considering whether to strengthen his backline before the beginning of the next campaign, the Red Devils have been linked with a big-money move for Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.
However, it appears that the 20-time English champions are also closely monitoring the rise of an Irish teenager, with Sky Sports News reporting (via The Sun) that Collins is on United’s radar.
The report adds that United’s scouts are already monitoring the development of the 18-year-old defender, who has made only three starts for the Championship outfit this season.
The highly-rated youngster has been with the Potters since 2016.
