Arsenal eyeing summer move for Willian on free transfer

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly go head to head for Chelsea winger Willian on a free transfer this summer, according to The Telegraph.

The Spanish tactician wants to strengthen his squad as the north Londoners look to raid Chelsea for the second time in successive summer transfer windows.

Willian wants a three-year deal at Stamford Bridge but the Blues have only put a two-year contract on the table as things stand.

The report adds that Arsenal’s bitter north London rivals Tottenham are also interested in a swoop to sign the 31-year-old winger from Chelsea.

Willian has contributed seven goals and six assists in 37 games in all competitions this campaign.
