AC Milan want Brazilian defender Emerson?

AC Milan have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Barcelona full-back Emerson.

The 21-year-old defender signed for the Catalan giants from Atletico Mineiro ahead of the 2019-20 season but immediately joined Real Betis as part of a deal.

Blaugrana allegedly have the option of officially bringing the Brazilian to Camp Nou for £8million in this summer’s transfer window, and the full-back recently insisted that he would be “ready” to represent the La Liga champions.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo vial Milan Live, The Rossoneri are also keeping a close eye on the South American as they weigh up a bid during the upcoming transfer window.

Emerson has been in impressive form this term, contributing three goals and five assists in 23 La Liga appearances.

Barca are believed to have initially considered on bringing Emerson to the Camp Nou from Real Betis ahead of the 2021-22 season.
