IPL 2020 to be staged in the UAE

The upcoming season of the Indian Premier League will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), subject to final clearance from the Indian government.

In April, the BCCI postponed the 2020 season indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, the mega-rich Twenty20 cricket tournament will take place between September 19 and November 10, 2020.

The 2020 IPL will be played in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.

The 53-day tournament will have 10-afternoon matches starting at 03:30 PM IST while the evening matches get underway at 07:30 PM IST.
