Real Madrid outcast Luka Jovic has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The West Midlands outfit are eyeing up Luka Jovic as an ideal replacement for Raul Jimenez, who has been sidelined after suffering a fractured skull against Arsenal last month.

The Athletic reports that Wolves are reportedly contemplating an approach for Real Madrid flop Luka Jovic.

The 23-year-old striker joined Los Blancos in a £55m deal last year but has struggled to hold down a regular spot at the Bernabeu.

The Serbia international has scored just two goals in 32 appearances for Madrid across all competitions, and the Spanish champions are thought to be open to selling him in an attempt to raise funds for next summer.

The report goes on to claim that Wolves’ close relationship with agent Jorge Mendes could boost their chances of pushing a deal through during the mid-season transfer window.

Jovic has only appeared four times in La Liga this season.
