Liverpool weighing up summer move for Ben White?

Liverpool have reportedly identified Brighton & Hove Albion centre-back Ben White as a potential summer signing.

The Reds have been linked with a number of defenders in the January window after losing Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk to long-term injuries. The duo expected to be out for the rest of the season.

The latest report from the Liverpool Echo claim that the Premier League champions are looking at Brighton defender Ben White and may move for the Englishman in the summer.

The Seagulls rejected three bids from Leeds United for the centre-back ahead of this season before he committed his future at the Amex Stadium on a new long-term deal until 2024.

White has been a regular for Albion this season and the wealth experience in the top flight will certainly help him develop and improve as a player.
