Done Deal: Bayern Munich sign Dayot Upamecano

Bayern Munich have announced the signing of RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano.

The highly-rated defender, who has been heavily linked with a number of Premier League clubs including Manchester United and Liverpool, has penned a five-year contract with the Bundesliga champions that will keep him at the Allianz Arena until 2026.

The Bavarians have met the release clause in the Frenchman’s contract.

Upamecano will officially join the European champions on July 1
