Watford join race to sign Eddie Nketiah?

Watford have reportedly joined the clutch of clubs hoping to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah in the upcoming transfer window, The Mirror reports.

The 22-year-old has struggled to cement his place as a first-team regular last term, having made just 17 Premier League appearances, although only four of those were starts.

With just 13 months remaining on his current contract, it appears that the striker could be on the move, and Brighton & Hove Albion F.C were recently credited with an interest.

Watford have now joined the race of the England Under-21 striker, who could be available for as little as £15 million this summer.

The Hornets desperately need a new centre-forward and have identified Nketiah as a potential summer signing.
