Manchester City remain interested in signing Erling Braut Haaland next summer

Manchester City reportedly remain undeterred in their efforts to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland in the summer of 2022.

The 21-year-old is expected to leave Westfalenstadion when his release clause becomes active, leading to talk of a move elsewhere.

The Premier League champions are among a few clubs looking to swoop for the Norway international, although Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Barcelona are all said to be in the race.

According to Sport, the Citizens are now ‘determined’ to acquire Haaland’s signature as Ferran Torres closes in on a move to Barcelona.

Haaland has scored 19 goals in 15 appearances for BVB in all competitions this term, and Manchester City are supposedly planning four deals to help them fund a move next year.
