Juventus eye Man United target Nicolo Zaniolo

Juventus have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo during this summer’s transfer window.

The 22-year-old has made 28 appearances for the Serie A outfit during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring four goals and providing five assists in the process.

He still has more than two years left on his contract, but there has been speculations surrounding his future in recent weeks.

A report claimed that Manchester United are interested in signing the Italy international, while Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be keen on the player.

However, according to Calciomercato, Juve head coach Massimiliano Allegri is pushing to bring Zaniolo to Turin during this summer’s transfer window.

The report adds that the midfielder’s agent has told the Bianconeri that his client is yet to hold discussions with AS Roma over a possible extension.

Zaniolo contributed 18 goals and 11 assists in 97 appearances for Giallorossi since arriving from Inter Milan in July 2018.
