Sergino Dest on Leeds United radar?

Leeds United have reportedly joined the list of clubs wanting to sign Barcelona right-back Sergino Dest this summer.

The 21-year-old has made 18 appearances in all competitions for the Blaugrana this season.

According to TEAMtalk, the Premier League outfit have identified the USA international as a potential target ahead of the 2022-23 campaign as they keen to bolster their defensive options and provide competition for Luke Ayling.

The report goes on to claim that the 30-year-old may be available for transfer this summer as the full-back is currently not part of Xavi’s plans at Camp Nou.

Chelsea, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and AS Roma have also expressed an interest in Dest, who is contracted to the Catalan giants June 2025.

Leeds head coach Jesse Marsch is also keeping a close eye on another American as the Elland Road outfit are believed to be in pole position to sign Brenden Aaronson from Red Bull Salzburg.
