Chelsea lead race to sign Ousmane Dembele

Premier League giants Chelsea have got themselves in pole position in the race for Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer from Barcelona.

According to talkSPORT, the Blues are at the head of the queue to sign the France international on a free transfer this summer. 

The 25-year-old, who is contracted to the Blaugrana until this summer, finished the La Liga season with 13 league assists.

Dembele’s performance improved drastically in the second half of the season as the Frenchman became one of the most important players for the Catalan giants.

The French winger now seems set for a move to Stamford Bridge. Should the move materialise, he will reunite with Thomas Tuchel, who managed him at the Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in the Barcelona forward, who has contributed 32 goals and 34 assists in 150 appearances for the club.
