Real Madrid Plot Bukayo Saka Approach as Arsenal Price Tag Reaches €160m

Real Madrid are preparing to explore a move for Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka as they review their attacking options ahead of the next transfer windows, according to Fussball News.

Real Madrid Prepare Saka Contact

The Spanish giants reportedly view the England international as a forward who could make an instant impact at the Santiago Bernabeu. No formal talks have taken place with Arsenal, but Madrid are expected to open communication with Saka’s representatives to gauge his situation.

The 25-year-old, who has 59 England caps, remains central to Mikel Arteta’s plans. His Premier League and Champions League experience would also mean little adaptation time in Spain.

Arsenal Set High Asking Price

Madrid’s interest comes amid concerns over their attacking depth, with injuries and uncertainty over some squad members prompting a search for elite alternatives. Arsenal, however, have no reason to sell. Saka is under contract and viewed as a cornerstone of the club’s long-term project.

Reports suggest the Gunners would want at least €150-160 million before entertaining talks, making him one of the most expensive potential targets in European football.

Our Take on Saka to Madrid

In our view, this is a tempting idea for Madrid but a difficult one to deliver. Saka is the player around whom Arteta has built Arsenal’s attack, and replacing his creativity and understanding of the system would be far harder than simply signing another right-sided forward.

Unless Saka pushes for an exit himself, Arsenal hold nearly all the leverage. Making first contact may be easy, but persuading the Gunners to open the door is another matter entirely.
