Manchester United to rival Inter Milan for French midfielder

Manchester United are in the running to sign Inter Milan target Corentin Tolisso from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, according to French media outlet RMC Sport via Mail.

The Red Devils are battling it out with Nerazzurri in the race to sign the Frenchman, who spent three seasons at Bayern, contributing 14 goals and 12 assists in 68 appearances across all competitions.

The Bavarians are ready to offload the midfielder after his three-year spell at the Allianz Arena.

The Bundesliga giants would be prepared to sell Tolisso if the club receive an offer somewhere in the region of £31million for the 25-year-old playmaker.

United are vying with Inter to sign the attacking midfielder as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bolster his options in the middle of the park.

The French star has chalked up one goal and two assists in seven starts and six substitute appearances in the German top-flight this term.
