Quansah Reluctant on Anfield Return
Jarell Quansah is reportedly not keen on rejoining Liverpool, despite the Reds holding a buyback clause on the Bayer Leverkusen defender. Football Insider claims Chelsea and Real Madrid are both monitoring the 23-year-old.

Bundesliga Progress
Quansah left Merseyside in search of regular football after more than a decade at the club. Since moving to Germany, the England international has made 50 appearances for Leverkusen, scoring five goals. That form has drawn interest from England and Spain.
Why the Big Clubs Want Him
Liverpool are reportedly monitoring the situation, with right-back still a concern. However, the buyback clause is said to be £59.5 million, a figure that may not represent good value.
Chelsea could see him as an option for Xabi Alonso’s 3-4-2-1 system, either at centre-back or right wing-back should Malo Gusto leave.
Real Madrid may also need reinforcements. Antonio Rudiger has entered the final 12 months of his contract, while Eder Militao has suffered three long-term injuries.
Our Opinion
Quansah’s stance is understandable given his limited minutes at Anfield. Chelsea can offer a clear pathway in a versatile role, while Madrid would bring a bigger stage. Liverpool’s fee looks steep, so rivals could take the lead if Leverkusen stand firm on price.
